On January 15, 1942, President Franklin D. Roosevelt penned the famous "Green Light" letter to then Commissioner Landis to keep Baseball going during WW II. In 1900, future President Franklin Roosevelt actually managed a baseball team called the Grotons. President Franklin Roosevelt threw out more ceremonial first pitches than any other U. S. President in history - eleven. This framed collectible features a 16x20 photo, an official seal of the President emblem, and an engraved nameplate. Measures 27" x 26".
