Mickey Mantle is regarded by many as the greatest ball player who ever lived. The Hall of Fame center fielder was the face of the New York Yankees for nearly two decades. During that time, Mickey compiled 536 home runs, 1509 RBI's and a career .298 batting average. Mantle played on 12 pennant, and 7 World Championship clubs. He still holds the records for most World Series home runs (18), RBI's (40), runs (42), walks (43), extra-base hits (26),and total bases (123). In 1956, he became the last player to win the Major League Triple Crown when he belted 52 homers, knocked in 130 runs and hit .353.
