Waterproof -- Rated by ETL (independent test lab) to be Waterproof in up to 2 feet of standing water for 72 hours. A synthetic rubber gasket on the body of the safe, along with other sealants provide a waterproof seal. (Units must be bolted to the floor in order to comply with the waterproof feature.)

Fire Resistant --- ETL tested to be Fire Resistant for 30 minutes at a temperature of 1400 degrees F per the manufactures specifications. The reinforced steel door is filled with fire retardant material, creating a protective fire wall. Door stripping around the inside of the door expands when exposed to high temperatures, sealing the safe's contents from harm during a fire.

Theft ---Tested by a certified California Department of Justice laboratory, this safe is rated as an approved Firearm Safety Container. 7 LARGE, live action steel locking bolts and 3 solid steel dead bolts, on the hinge side of the door, provide 10 locking points. Plus the solid steel, reinforced pry resistant door and a drill resistant hardened steel plate located behind the lock add greater security. Includes a 3-spoke handle with rubber grips.

Electronic Lock -- Easy to program electronic lock includes operational lights for open, low battery warning and incorrect entry. There is a time out period after 3 incorrect attempts. Batteries are accessible from the front of the safe and are easy to replace.

. Fully Convertible --This large 36 gun safe is convertible and comes with 6 adjustable shelves so you can customize the interior to hold 36 guns with some shelves at the top (depending on the length of your firearms) or 18 guns and shelving on one side of the safe or all shelves.
