Rated by ETL (independent test lab) to be Fire Resistant for 30 minutes at a temperature of 1400 degrees F per the manufacturer-s specifications. The reinforced steel door is filled with fire-retardant material, creating a protective fire wall. Door stripping around the inside of the door expands when exposed to high temperatures, sealing the safe's contents from harm during a fire.

Tested by a certified California Department of Justice laboratory, this safe is rated as an approved Firearm Safety Container. 3 large, live-action steel locking bolts and 3 solid steel dead bolts, on the hinge side of the door, provide 6 locking points. Plus the solid steel, reinforced pry-resistant door and a drill-resistant hardened steel plate located behind the lock add greater security.

Electronic lock includes operational lights for open, low-battery warning and incorrect entry. There is a time-out period after 3 incorrect attempts. Batteries are accessible from the front of the safe and are easy to replace. A trouble key is included.

Includes 3 adjustable shelves for storing documents, valuables and pistols.

Fully carpeted interior is preinstalled. Pre-drilled mounting holes in the steel bottom of the safe allow for easy attachment to the floor. The body of the safe has a black, textured powder coat paint finish. The door is silver/gray with a black silk screen. Hardware has a chrome appearance.
