Rated by ETL (independent test lab) to be fire-resistant for 30 minutes at a temperature of 1400 degrees F per the manufacturer's specifications. The reinforced steel door is filled with fire-retardant material, creating a protective fire wall. Door striping around the inside of the door expands when exposed to high temperatures, sealing the safe's contents from harm during a fire.

Tested by a certified California Department of Justice laboratory, this safe is rated as an approved Firearm Safety Container. 5 large, live-action, steel-locking bolts and 3 solid steel dead bolts, on the hinge side of the door, provide 8 locking points. Plus the solid steel, reinforced pry-resistant door and a drill-resistant hardened steel plate located behind the lock add greater security.

Preprogrammed, 3# combination lock is easy to use - numbers and tic marks are easy to read.

Includes a removable top shelf that is positioned in the back of the units so that longer rifles and shotguns can be stored in the front of the safe along the side walls.

Fully carpeted interior is preinstalled. Includes Stack-On's patented gun barrel rests and patented standoffs for scoped guns. Standoffs allow scoped guns to stand upright in the safe without taking extra space. Pre-drilled mounting holes in the steel bottom of the safe allow for easy attachment to the floor. The safe has a hunter green, textured powder coat paint finish. The door has a decorative gold silk-screen with brass colored hardware.
