Like the DiversiTech Original Grill Pads, the Collegiate Edition Grill Pads are made from lightweight cement. They are only a quarter-inch thick but highly durable; they will not burn or stain, can be easily cleaned up with a garden hose and will even outlast many of the grills themselves. The material breathes to minimize water buildup beneath the pad, which can cause stains and mildew. This is a common problem with many grill protectors because they retain water or excessive moisture underneath.

The Collegiate Edition Grill Pad is offered with official licensed, full-color team logos from 80 colleges and universities across the country. The background of the 30- by 42-inch rectangular pad is Earthtone brown to complement many of the most popular decking and patio surfaces.
