Last Minute Sales & Specials
The 1963 Orange Bowl saw the first ever meeting between two of college football's most storied programs. Oklahoma's coach Charles "Bud" Wilkinson built a dynasty with the Sooners by winning three AP National Championships in the 1950's. Paul "Bear" Bryant was building a dynasty at Alabama. As defending National Champions and with just one loss in 1962, Alabama was well on its way. Even President John F. Kennedy took time to watch this classic match up . Lee Roy Jordan stole the show with one of the greatest single game performances in Alabama football history with thirty one tackles, prompting Coach Bryant to say, "If they stay in bounds, Lee Roy'll git 'em." Watch and listen as Tide greats Mal Moore, Mike Hopper, Dude Hennessey, Benny Nelson and Lee Roy Jordan recap the thrilling 1962 season and the 1963 Orange Bowl that would become a "Crimson Classic.".
1962 highlight film, with commentary by Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant; Rarely before seen photos; Extended interviews, Interviews, Photo Gallery.
