Last Minute Sales & Specials
The Greatest Comeback in Kentucky Basketball. It was a tale of two halves. In the first half of its game against the LSU Tigers, Kentucky played about as poorly as it could play. Nothing went right for the Cats as their starters scored only 9 points in the first half. An the same time LSU looked unstoppable as they blocked shots and poured in 3-pointers from everywhere; lighting the Wildcats up with 68% shooting form the field and a 48-32 lead. LSU continued the deluge early in the second half going on an 18-0 run to build a 68-37 lead. Looking at a 31-point hole it would have been easy for Kentucky to pack it in, but instead they put together the greatest comeback in collegiate basketball history. Coach Rick Pitino looked to his bend for some fire and found it in Gimel Martinez, Jeff Brassow and Walter McCarty. Everything that had gone right for LSU early deserted the Tigers as Kentucky found it's range from 3-point land and outscored LSU 62-27 in the final 15:34 to win 99-95.
