2008 Allstate Sugar Bowl: Georgia Vs. Hawaii (Widescreen)

In front of 74,383 screaming fans at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans, the Georgia Bulldogs ended the Hawaii Warrior's undefeated dream season, 41-10, at the 2008 Allstate Sugar Bowl. The Tenth ranked Warriors were no match for the balanced offensive attack and stifling defense of fifth ranked Georgia. Led by MVP Marcus Howard, the Bulldog's defense harassed Hawaii's quarterbacks and Heisman Trophy finalist Colt Brennan, as he was sacked eight times, lost two fumbles and tossed three interceptions. In the final game of his storied college career, Brennan was held to a season low 169 yards passing. Howard became the Sugar Bowl's first defensive MVP in nearly 30 years. With Knowshon Moreno's two first half rushing tochdowns, Georgia was able to take a comanding 24-3 lead. Hawaii, the nation's highest scoring team, was never able to mount a second half comback. Instead it was the Bulldogs that set a school record with its highest scoring bowl game in school history, eclipsing a 40-26 win over TCU in the 1942 Orange Bowl. The Official FOX Sports Allstate Sugar Bowl DVD includes the commercial free game broadcast as well as special bonus features. It is a great addition to any Bulldog fan's collection.
