The Atlantic Coast Conference dominated tournament play with three teams (North Carolina, Maryland and Duke) earning their their way into the Final Four. The stage was set as Louisiana State won the last remaining spot. The semi-finals saw plenty of action as second-seeded Maryland upset ACC rival North Carolina. Duke, meanwhile, had little trouble with LSU on their way to the Championship Game. It would be the Blue Devils versus the Terrapin. And OT is where Maryland is at its best; going 6-0 for the year - all games played on the road! Maryland was able to channel their youthful exuberance and defeat an experienced Duke squad to win the game!
