For more than a century these great college football powerhouses have gathered for the "Red River Rivalry". This DVD features the great games, the coaches and athletes that are part of this storied football rivalry. College Football's Greatest Rivalries - Oklahoma vs. Texas - features four hours of the greatest football moments and memories including: "The History" - This 50 minute show documents the history between the two schools. More than 30 former coaches, players and media members were interviewed. In addition to looking back at some of the great games that were played between these two schools, the unique atmosphere of the Cotton Bowl and playing at the State Fair of Texas are examined, and we find out from the coaches and players what makes the rivalry special. "The Game In Depth" - The greatest games are featured in extended 10-minute highlights with the original calls from the broadcasters. "1969" - #2 Texas beats #8 Oklahoma, 27-17, en route to its second national championship. "1984" - #1 Oklahoma and #3 Texas play to a 15-15 tie in the driving rain. "1994" - #16 Texas beats #15 Oklahoma, 17-14 as freshman QB James Brown wins his first start for Texas. "1996" - Unranked Oklahoma beats #25 Texas, 30-27, in the first and only overtime game between these two schools. "2001" - #3 Oklahoma beats #5 Texas, 14-3, as a then-unknown Jason White comes off the bench to rally the Sooners.
