Nobody's singin' that old familiar A-B-C song in this 35-minute ode to the alphabet! Here, a happy batch of kids play with foam letters at the park, hollering out the name of each as they pop from behind a tree or race down a slide. Sandwiched between these delightful scenes is the meat of the show: the individual letter study. A narrator announces the letter as it appears on the screen, then repeats it twice as the scene changes to footage of an item beginning with the letter (for example, "B, B, bear. B, bear.") Three examples for each letter feature fairly familiar items; thus, viewers will see and hear real puppies cavort, watch bright paints cover the screen, and see a mouth-watering cherry pie dance (via a little movie magic). Upbeat music accompanies the action, adding to the visual and auditory appeal of this fast-paced show.
