In an ancient time when commoners live in fear of the Yoma, the shape shifting demons that hide among people and feed on their innards, the legendary female warriors known as "Claymore" are the only saviors. Engineered as half-human - half-Yoma, Claymore are swords for hire that hunt and kill full-bred Yoma. The agency who controls the Claymore offers their service at a steep price. If a village is unable to pay, they will no longer receive the support of the agency or the Claymore. Some even suggest the agency sends the Yoma out to punish these Villages.
