Driven by unexplainable nightmares of violent murder, Drew Summers (Candace Cameron Bure) mysteriously arrives in the small town of Steveston, Oregon, on the first anniversary of Laura Fairgate's death. Strangely, Drew looks almost identical to Laura, who supposedly died with her boyfriend Ted (Casper Van Dien) in a murder/suicide that rocked the small town just one year ago. Spurred on by increasingly vivid images of Laura's death. Drew begins to uncover clues into the strange murder/suicide mystery but faces a town of suspicious residents who refuse to help her. As the pieces of the puzzle begin to fall together and as Drew gets closer to the truth, the more in danger she is of learning what happened to Laura - the hard way.
