Once again, rough n' tumble Lenny Slater (Corey Haim) is in hot water with everybody at school, Ridgefield University The faculty has branded him a troublemaker and his own football team is out to get him. To top it all off, the one girl he wants to to take to the homecoming dance, Jenny (Ami Dolenz), doesn't want anything to do with him . In a fluke of circumstance,he winds up on the bus carrying a group of students to the Water & Power plant for a physics field trip. As the bus heads towards the destination, the plant is quietly being taken over by a group of Nationalist terrorists...if their demands are not met they will introduce a virus into the water system killing hundreds of thousands of people. Once the students arrive the professor begin a long and winding tour of the plant. Lenny, however, scenes something is awry and stays behind. He spots the terrorists and overhears their plans to use the students as hostages. Lenny sets out to alert his peers, but he's to late...the rest of the students have been taken hostage. The only two students that have not been taken hostage are Lenny & Jenny. On the run, they must fight for their lives, even it means killing someone to defend themselves. What started as a field trip quickly becomes a high-stakes battle to outwit terrorists, as two intrepid co-eds battle their way towards an explosive, powerhouse final.
