A series of documentaries showcasing the more prominent personalities from Mexico: song writers, painters, actors, film directors, writers, wrestlers and pop culture icons. "Eulalio Gonzalez 'Piporro'" was born on December 16, 1921, in Los Herreras, Nuevo Leon. He began to study Medicine and never finished it. Then, he obtained an accounting's professional degree but never practiced that profession, because his real interest was in journalism. He worked for the "El Porvenir de Monterrey," a local newspaper and shortly after made his debut as radio presenter at the XEMR. His aspiration took him to Mexico City where he looked for a job a as a radio announcer for the XEW, the most important radio station of the era. In fact he obtained a job, but as an actor for the popular radio drama shows. He was called to participate in the radio show "Ahi Viene Martin Corona" with Pedro Infante in the principal role. That's the very origin of "El Piporro," because it was his character's name. After the great success it was decided to make a movie starring Pedro Infante, Sarita Montiel and Eulalio Gonzalez as "El Piporro." He appeared in many different movies, such as "El Bracero Del Ano," "El Rey Del Tomate," "Torero Por Un Dia," "El Rata," "La Valentina," among others. He was greeted with two Ariel Awards and one Diosa de Plata. "El Taconazo," "Agustin Jaime," "Meliton el Abuson," "Rosita Alvirez" and "El Guero Aventado" are some of his most representative songs as a performer and songwriter. He died on September 1st, 2003, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. "Joaquin Pardave Arce" - (September 30, 1900, Penjamo, Guanajuato - July 20, 1955) was a Mexican actor, director, songwriter and screenwriter of the Cienema of Mexico. Joaquin Pardave was born into show business, his parents being a pair of stage actors. He started his acting career in theater and moved to the movie industry in the silent-film era.
