Beto is a struggling rapper from Los Angeles, who can't get a break into the music industry, after losing a local rap battle because he get high with his crew Chee Chees and Goggles, things go from bad to worse for him, firs his girlfriend moves in with him without prior notice. Beto thinks of entering a rap contest where the first place takes a record deal and cash, however, he cannot afford the demo so he asks Chuck E a well known street hustler to loan him the money; after a night of wild partying with his homies, he discovers the money is gone. Beto has way to many problems; he must get the money back, find out if the Huntington Park Hoodrats are behind the robbery, workout things with Loly, and finally survive this ironic urban comedy. Beto es un rapero sin suerte en Los Angeles. Despues de perder un concurso de rap por ponerse pacheco con sus cuates Chee Chees y Goggles, su vida va de mal en peor; primero su novia Loly se queda embarazada y despues su primo Lalo se va a vivir a su casa sin avisarle. Beto se entera de otra competencia de rap en donde el primer lugar gana un contrato con despues de una noche de parranda con sus cuates el dinero se pierde. Ahora Beto tendra que arreglar sus problemas: recuperar el dinero, descubrir si los ladronzuelos de Huntington Park le robaron, arreglar las cosas con Loly y sobrevivir esta ironica comedia juvenil.
