Cassandra Reilly (Judy Davis) is an American translator eking out a living in Barcelona. When a mysterious, glamorous, stranger Frankie Stevens (Marcia Gay Harden) arrives at her doorstep and offers her a large sum of money to help track down her missing husband, it's an offer Cassandra can't afford to refuse.
