Andy, an unruly suburban teen, finds herself alone in the desolate desert of Castle Rock when her grandfather suddenly collapses after suffering a stroke. Alone and afraid, Andy has only her faithful dog Farley as a companion and protector. Meanwhile, Antonio, a handsome drifter on the run from the law, has also become lost in the area in a desperate attempt to escape the police search party that pursues him.
