Since the early 1940's, the 'Lau Family' has been giving audiences action and setting trends in the martial arts genre. Liu Chia Liang, a direct descendant from the Kung Fu lineage of the legendary Wong Fei Hung started out in the film business next to his father making action scenes for the first 'Wong Fei Hung' movies starring Kwan Tak Hing. From there he and his brother Liu Chia Wing went to the famed Shaw Bros. studios and it was there that their true abilities as marital artists and filmmakers blossomed with mega hit after hit. They also introduced an adopted brother, Liu Chia Hui, and he become one of the Shaws biggest stars ever. Most of the world knows him as Gordon Liu, The Master Killer. Martial Arts Essentials is proud to present this first collection on some of the master work of the Lau family.
