About Packard

Jaime Packard was born in Arizona, where she has lived her whole life. She dabbled in art as a young teenager, but really took off later in high school. Jaime discovered that she could do something she loves, like paint and make a living doing it. That was it for her! She now spends most of her time working at her studio and living in downtown Phoenix.

When not painting, Packard enjoys making time for bike outings, yoga and reading. She also spends a good amount of her time away from the studio participating in activities around the local arts community. Her artistic sensibilities lean toward the unseen beauty of found objects and applied geometry. Using vibrant layers of color, Packard's work has a rhythmic simplicity, as embodied by her everyday motto; ''Keep it simple.
