About the Artist:
Born in Seattle, Washington, Jane Bellows began her interest in art, working as a photographer. She started incorporating her photography into paintings early in her career. She brought many aspects of her education into painting abstracts with forms, lines and space. Lighting and perspective influences also carry over into her florals and painted landscapes. Jane Bellows has studied up and down the west coast and has been influenced by many well known artists, but she now looks to new and local artists for inspiration and to spark her creativity.
