The Wine VII & VIII set from the Vetro Di Oro collection starts with a 10 x 10 glass body to which a Sublimation transfer decal is then applied to the bottom of the plate. Placed over this decal is either gold or silver metal leaf, followed by a lacquer coating. Once complete, the glass is adhered to a 13 x 13 beveled frame made of medium-density fiberboard which has been covered in a vinyl wood grain veneer. Artist: Mary Beth Zeitz. Mary Beth studied art at the University de Montpellier France. She travelled extensively throughout Europe, which had a profound effect on her artistically. Currently living in Marlton, Mary Beth is one of 24 artists chosen by The United States Mint as a coin and medal Master Designer in their first ever national search in 2004. This opportunity finds her designing coins and medals specifically requested by the U.S. Mint, including the State Quarter Program. Mary Beth has exhibited her work in several fine art shows and has received numerous awards in the Delaware Valley, including The Rittenhouse Square Fine Arts Annual in Philadelphia, and The Brandywine Arts Festival in Wilmington.
