This stainless steel pot comes with a triple sandwich bottom (stainless steel-aluminum-stainless steel) and has pouring lips and rounded edges. The stainless steel handles are solidly welded on. The 'heart' of the heat conducting bottoms is made of thick aluminum which spreads the heat evenly across the bottom. The Rondeau sauce pot is suited for blanching vegetables and fruits, and heating or re-heating liquids, stews and sauces. The pan has two welded stainless steel handles and comes with a lid.
