This stainless steel pot comes with a triple sandwich bottom (stainless steel-aluminum-stainless steel) and has pouring lips and rounded edges. The stainless steel handles are solidly welded on. The 'heart' of the heat conducting bottoms is made of thick aluminum which spreads the heat evenly across the bottom. This Rondeau pot is wide and low allowing a quick dispersion of steam for searing and poaching. It is induction ready.
