A high-output water pump provides sufficient cooling water flow for maximum protection of the diamond blade on this 55 lb 7'' Wet Tile Saw. SawMaster uses an improved polypropylene water tray on most of its tile saws. It offers better durability and support than ABS trays and is lighter than stainless steel trays. Cutting depth on this tile saw can be easily adjusted to accommodate 6'' to 7'' blades and to provide plunge cutting functionality. Automatic thermal overload protection prevents the motor on this 55 lb 7'' Wet Tile Saw from overheating and protects the saw from power surges. The equipped carbon brush motor generates a tremendous amount of torque, surpassing that of a comparably rated induction motor. At the same time, it is also lighter and smaller than its induction counterpart, which make it ideal for portability. The cutting table is equipped with a spring lock to secure the cutting table when transporting the wet tile saw between job sites. The patented LCBH (Liquid Cooled Bearing Housing) works in conjunction with the water pump to cool down the bearing housing during saw operation. This feature increases the service life of the bearing housing even under heavy loads. The new cast aluminum cutting table is covered by a rubber mat that is injected directly onto the table and chemically bond for enhanced durability.
