For easy access to the bottom drawer, every cabinet has a built in base which raises the bottom drawer 3'' off the floor. All the cabinets are constructed of solid steel and feature smooth rolling, non-suspension drawers for easy viewing and quiet operation. They can also store up to 9,000 prescription records and has a movable clamp follower to keep prescriptions upright and easily accessible. The drawer is separated into 2 rows by a non-adjustable center divider. This filing cabinet is so work-friendly that the drawers can easily be taken out of the cabinet and moved to a desk, table top, or counter. The drawers also feature a sleek aluminum drawer handle which is recessed in the drawer to prevent snagging.
