Often purchased in pairs and used side by side as an interesting coffee table, or separately as distinctive end tables, this black lacquer table has hand carved legs, foo dog faces at apron corners, and ball and claw feet. The tabletop is hand painted with raised Chinois figures and scenery in traditional landscape design, then finished in a rich, clear lacquer. Apron is hand painted with a plum blossom design. Lower shelf and under surfaces are finished in black lacquer.
