A wide variety of LED drivers and power supplies are offered for specific LED and cold cathode lighting products. The selection of drivers ranges from voltage driven (12-volt and 24-volt) to current driven (350mA) types. Plug-in and hardwire styles are available. Note: It is necessary to match LED and cold cathode lighting products with the correct type of driver/power supply as they are specific to the lighting product. Drivers are different from transformers they deliver a direct current (DC) or constant current output rather than an AC output associated with transformers. Using an AC transformer with LED lighting will likely cause AC flicker in addition to shortened life.
