When selecting the proper size ceiling medallion keep in mind the size of your fixtue or fan, the height of the ceiling since higher ceilings can accommodate larger medallions, and last but not least the size of the room, (larger rooms can accommodate larger medallions). Generally, for a room with an eight to nine foot ceiling, a medallion that is 18 to twenty six inches in diameter will work well. This molded plastic Classic style medallion has a brass finish and can be a quick fix solution for when your ceiling opening is too large.
