The Comprehensive CVG-SV5XL is high resolution, state-of-the-art S-Video and composite distribution amplifier with stereo audio designed for presentation, studio, and staging applications. The CVG-SV5XL splits a single S-Video or composite input source into five identical outputs with simultaneous S-Video and composite distribution. Hundreds of copies of video tapes can be made at the same time using several units chained through the looping inputs. Video bandwidth of 300 Mhz ensures no loss of video information to the outputs.

The CVG-SV5XL is a true dual format distribution amplifier allowing simultaneous distribution of both composite and S-Video. It will accept any composite video or S-Video input and output to five composite and S-Video outputs at the same time. The composite to S-Video decoding is performed using a digital comb filter for clean, transparent conversion. The CVG-SV5XL also will convert a composite input to S-Video and convert an S-Video input into composite video-making the CVG-SV5XL a real value.

The composite and S-Video inputs each have an extra converted output so that even when working as two unconverted distribution amps, there is an extra converted output for monitoring or other applications. Rear panel controls are provided for AC or DC coupling, and for termination to enable looping. The CVG-SV5XL comes in a rugged metal rack mountable enclosure.
